Final Thoughts on Taking Your Dog Swimming Near Colorado Springs

This concludes our list of dog pools and dog swimming spots near Colorado Springs. As a final reminder, be sure to dry and clean your dog’s ears after swimming, using a vet-approved dog ear cleaner. Moisture trapped in the ears, especially in dogs with floppy ears, can lead to canine ear infections.

We also recommend keeping your dog’s vaccinations and heartworm preventives up-to-date. This helps keep them safe from disease and parasites, which can come from other dogs, carrier insects, and so on.
