In Their Own Words: Heartfelt Reviews from Sploot Pet Parents

The team is SUPER caring; they take TIME to explain every little thing; you get TEXT updates when your pet's surgery is finished, stating how it went and that he's recovering.  There are treats in the exam rooms.  Everyone is friendly, and REASONABLY priced. All the other crazy vet thieves in this city who are masquerading as caring about pets can take a seat now.  Sploot rocques!

I recently had to bring in my cat for an emergency exam, and they were wonderful throughout the entire process. They worked to get him seen quickly, and they explained everything each step of the way. Overall, they were very patient with me and my cat during a very stressful and chaotic time, and I was incredibly impressed by the level of care received.

So pleased with our experience at Sploot. Scheduling was easy and we got in quickly for a sick visit.  Since Lola was also due for her wellness exam and vaccines they accommodated for that as well.  Dr Johnston was so kind and helpful. We will make Sploot our new vet spot.

The vet I saw was probably the friendliest vet I've ever interacted with, and just made the whole visit a lot less stressful! We were taken back to an exam room immediately despite being 20 or so minutes early, and seen by the assistant and vet quickly after. We were also given several treatment options in order to rule out any variables. I will definitely be recommending Sploot to any of my pet owning friends!

I brought my two cats to Sploot for their annual exams. The staff was so friendly and patient with my kitties! They took extra care for all exams and found out my little guy had a UTI! They also laid out all my treatment options to make sure it doesn’t come back or get any worse. They sweetened the deal with a couple treats!

WHY PET PARENTS LOVE SPLOOT

Erica N.

"What a great experience! We were floored with our first visit. A refreshingly modern and pup-first approach to pet care. Dr Jake was a dog whisperer in getting our sometimes (okay always) ornery Bernedoodle to relax for a shot...The digital scheduling and billing makes logistics a cinch- will be recommending Sploot to all of our pup Scout’s friends!"

Adam K.

"The most friendly staff, beautiful facilities, I know that my labradoodle is in the best hands!"

Samantha M.

My pup Theo had a great experience at Sploot!  Dr. Alexa and Dr. Jake were super nice and put Theo at ease right away (he doesn't love vets).  Their convenient hours made it incredibly easy for me to go after work - and plus, the beautifully designed clinic made going to the vet a totally different experience for me and Theo!  He really enjoyed choosing from the treat / toy / sunglasses bar and walked away a happy pup.

Journeys with Sploot: Exceptional Care, Extraordinary Stories

A Life-Changing Prescription for Archie

Though vomiting and intestinal issues seem all too prevalent in dogs, Archie’s pet parent was determined to improve Archie’s gut health. Sploot’s vets quickly uncovered a canine food allergy and prescribed a few small changes that made a big difference!

“I love Sploot! They are attentive, sweet to my dog, and always have great availability whenever I need them or when issues arise. My dog, Archie, has struggled with diet issues his whole life, and while we’ve brought it up to other vets, Dr. Fox at Sploot was the first to suggest it might be a food allergy!
One prescription later, and he’s a new dog—no more vomiting and regular poops! Sploot is the best vet clinic—they even checked up on him through text and phone calls after our appointment!”

Two Labs Get All-in-One Care at Sploot

Sploot’s vet clinic has become a go-to place for comprehensive care, expert guidance, and enjoyable visits for two inquisitive and curious labs.

“We’ve been bringing both our labs to Sploot for about a year now. Every visit has been fantastic—and with our dogs eating like trash pandas and frequently getting themselves into trouble, we’ve had quite a few visits!
Booking appointments is always quick and easy, the front desk staff are friendly, and the vet techs and vets are incredibly empathetic and knowledgeable. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure our dogs receive the best care. I ask loads of questions, and they’re always super patient and helpful. While you can request to see the same vet, we go with whoever is available because they’re all amazing.
The facilities are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed with nice touches like balls and treats (even for humans!). It’s clear that everyone at Sploot truly loves animals, and it shows in every interaction.”

Scaredy Cat No More: Thanks to Sploot’s Fear Free Care

Many cat parents wonder if it’s possible for cats to come into a vet clinic without anxiety or fear. With Sploot’s Fear Free certified medical team, many cats have experienced stress-free (and even enjoyable) vet visits—at last!

“I am the epitome of a cat lady—I live for my boy. The nurses and veterinarians at Sploot are the only people I trust to treat him. My cat doesn’t panic at all about going to the vet, and I think it’s because the facility is so clean, the vets are gentle, the snacks are top-notch, and everyone tells him how handsome he is.
The team is also incredibly supportive (I tend to blank out when I hear there’s a possibility of illness), so I really appreciate the detailed email reports with notes and recommendations on what to watch for if something more serious comes up. I also love how tech-savvy Sploot is—I can text, send photos and videos of symptoms, and easily request medications or appointments without any hassle. We love Sploot!”

No Room for Error—How Pinpoint Accuracy Saved Aspen's Life

One of the most terrifying experiences happened to pet parents Sarah and Joe when Aspen displayed a worrying shift in behavior. When all the initial tests came back as ‘normal’, it became a race against time to get to the root of Aspen’s condition.

“I’ve been having to rush Aspen into Sploot’s urgent care more than 3 times in the past two days. I noticed she wasn’t being herself—she was completely lethargic and not interested at all in eating her food. I was terrified after waking up to see the house covered in her vomit, so I called Sploot Vets and they advised me to bring her in ASAP.
The Sploot team sprang into action, stabilizing her with IV fluids and anti-nausea medication—all while running tests. Their experienced vets didn't stop until they found the cause. Aspen has Addison’s Disease, a disorder affecting the adrenal glands and causes them not to produce enough hormones [...]. In severe cases, such as Aspen’s, it can cause life-threatening symptoms such as severe weakness, shock, and collapse.
I cannot recommend Sploot enough! It was the first time I’ve ever felt like my dogs were actually being taken care of. I never once felt like they were there for a paycheck, but there to actually make my dog feel better and get to the bottom of what was wrong. Safe to say not only will I be using their urgent care as needed, but we’re going to use them as our primary vet as well.”

Murray Gets a New Lease on Life

At 8 months old, Murray, an inquisitive kitten, accidentally ingested a foreign object. Surgery was the only treatment option—prompting pet parent Jenny to seek prompt emergency care and surgery in Sploot’s dedicated surgical suite.

When Murray swallowed something he shouldn’t have, the Sploot team acted fast. They used X-rays and ultrasound to pinpoint the problem. They quickly determined surgery was necessary, as the foreign body posed a risk to Murray’s intestines. The procedure went smoothly, and the foreign body was safely removed. After surgery, they provided top-notch post-operative support—and now Murray is healthy, growing, and full of energy!

Same-Day Surgery Saves Nova’s from Life-Threatening Complications

When Nova’s parents noticed she was lethargic, lost appetite, and had a swollen abdomen, they quickly rushed her to Sploot for emergency care. Nova was diagnosed with pyometra, a life-threatening infection that needed urgent surgery.

“My dog Nova had a severe case of pyometra and they went above and beyond to make sure my fur baby got the care she needed. From Callie to Marissa all the way to Dr. Ratchford and his team, everyone was incredibly compassionate and professional, keeping me informed every step of the way. Thanks to their expert care, Nova is now recovering and back to her happy, playful self. She was seen and had surgery the same day and now we’re home recovering. I cannot thank this place enough. A literal LIFE SAVER!!! ♥♥♥”
